About Mojob

Mojob started as a marketplace for small jobs in 2015. A group of students at NTNU saw a huge gap in the small jobs market for modern tech helping the right people and companies find each other. Through their obsession with mobile-friendly tech, the young entrepreneurs quickly grew the marketplace to 20 000 users and 1000 jobs.

“In the early days of Mojob we learned a lot about taking the end user perspective in our product development - meaning both talents and people hiring talents. This is a core heritage of Mojob and a basis for our core value today; we’re obsessed with understanding user behavior and serving our customers”

– Brage Staven, CTO and one of the entrepreneurs

Another heritage and core Mojob value is social responsibility. Mojob has been involved in projects for refugee work opportunities. E.g. the talent app “Mojob for job seekers” has been used to simplify job applications for refugees. In general, Mojob is determined to help business customers with recruitment technology in favor of equal opportunities and unbiased recruitment processes.

In 2017-2018 Mojob became a part of Otiga Group and pivoted from being a marketplace for small jobs into a recruitment platform (or applicant tracking system, ATS) for small to medium-sized companies. Otiga Group comprises leading players in Nordic recruitment and staffing services, such as Agito, Assessit, and Personalhuset. Today Mojob combines user-testing on talents and recruitment experts from Otiga Group to develop cutting-edge technologies for recruitment, employer branding, and staffing.

Here is how one of the early adopters of Mojob recruitment platform put it:

“Mojob makes recruitment more user-friendly and personal. Using automatic video interviews gives us a better evaluation basis while saving time! It is crucial to utilize innovative solutions like Mojob in the digitization of Norlandia”

– Matthias Tansky, Operations Manager at Norlandia Hotels (Radisson, Thon Hotels, Scandic)
